Hey guys...

Had my S5 for a few weeks now and could not be happier.
However, i have mad an observation that i would like to share with you all and see if others have experienced this also.
Shortly after shooting some 4K video, the phone will start heating up gradually and battery drain takes a beating. This happens AFTER exiting the camera app.
A phone restart rectifies the issue until 4K video shooting again..

Any input welcome...

Cheers

I noticed it to over the summer when I was take videos at Watkins Glen . Though the phone would cool down on it's own pretty good . Battery useage wasn't to bad though it was higher than normal at the time .

Thanks for the heads up guys...

I notice my phone getting quite warm during 4K recording and i accept that.
But it remains warm and the battery drains rapidly even after i exit the camera app.. Its as if the camera app is still running in the background.

Once i reboot, phone cools down and battery usage back to normal.

As long as i don't use the camera the phone works fine...

Cheers

Ok.. I've tried it again just to make sure it's not my imagination..
I shot 30 seconds of 4K video and exited the phone app.
Phone gradually heated up and battery level dropped 5% over 20 mins with the screen off just sitting there on my desk..
Rebooted the phone and all was good again..

Is there an app to see what background services are running ?
