Upgrading a locked AT&T S5 from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 on Cricket?

I am using a locked AT&T branded Galaxy S5 on Cricket. Software version is 4.4.2. It's my understanding that on AT&T this phone has been upgraded to 4.4.4 but on Cricket when I select software updates the device searches the AT&T server and it tells me the current software is up to date. But I'm pretty certain there is a 4.4.4 update out there available to AT&T customers. Is there anything I can do to get this update? I'd also be interested in getting the 5.0 update when it comes out in december.

I just rooted my device last week using towel root if that matters.

It has not been updated to 4.4.4 yet unfortunately. We are still on 4.4.2 with no information on whether we will even see that update or jump right to 5.0.

Really? I could've swore I read somewhere that att s5 had been upgraded to 4.4.4. I guess that bodes well for me in that I'd still have access to upgrades even though I'm using on cricket.

Yeah you should still get AT&T updates. I put my old S4 on Straight Talk for my mom (though it is not rooted) and she still gets updates in line with regular AT&T devices. I wouldn't worry there.
