If you force stop an app, the following message appears:

"If you force stop an app, it may cause errors."

What kind of errors can this cause and are they serious errors??

Welcome to Android Central! It means that there's a potential to make other apps or system processes unstable, and cause other force stops to occur. But it's usually fine, as long as you're not force-stopping a system app. Crucial apps will restart on their own anyway.
