Synching S5 to Ipad

So I was all set to buy an S5 today at a Best Buy when something went awry with the Verizon system, and we could not complete the purchase! I'll have to go back. I have an Ipad. The Samsung guy said I should be able to synch contacts, calendar, etc. between the S5 and Ipad via my server at work, but he sounded a little uncertain. Anyone have any experience in this regard?

If you have an Exchange account from work, then yes, you can do that.

You can also add your Google account for contacts, mail, and calendar to your iPad and that will sync without the need for the Exchange account (some companies restrict how many mobile devices, if at all, you can access your work e-mail from).

You CANNOT use iCloud to sync your iPad data to your S5, just the same as you CANNOT use S-Cloud to sync your Samsung stuff to your iPad.

Thanks. I like to stick to my exchange server as it also keeps Outlook updated on my work computer.
