from the lack of responses, is it safe to assume that
nobody uses the Otterbox Defender on the S5?

I don't use Otterbox or any type of screen protector, but I have never scratched the screen of any of my phones. The glass is pretty scratch resistant these days. Unless someone is really rough or is going to throw it on their purse, I just don't see a need for a protector. Otterbox customer service might know.

I have one. I just popped out the plastic screen protector.

Thanks! I guess the S5 is different. My other phone, Galaxy Note II, has tempered glass screen protector on and the Otterbox Defender case can't be closed(even with the built-in plastic protector popped out)
