    Hi,
Just bought a new Samsung S5 and I'm unable to connect to FB via the wif connection at home. We have a newer Linksys router and everything else in the house works fine (laptops, PC's, Kindle, PlayStation). Is there a setting somewhere on the phone or the router that is keeping me from connecting?

    Thanks,

    tasman

Welcome to Android Central! Rukbat, one of our other Ambassadors, would probably tell you that newer Linksys routers seem to have more issues like this compared to older ones. Review this guide, though, and see if the tips help: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...-problems.html

Can you get to FB using a laptop connected to the same router?

Check the router's firewall settings by logging into the router via the computer browser (see the router manual for details). Is Facebook listed as a blocked site for some reason?

Download FREE VPN / BETTERNET at Playstore. It can help you to solve your problem by just tapping "CONNECT" while your WiFi is ON. Just try it.
