How do I turn the mobile hotspot on, on my Samsung S5?

Samsung s5 mobile hotspot

I just got an s5 AT & T which I brought in to Lagos Nigeria. I am using MTN sim. I could do all my browsing and perfectly however I am unable to turn on the mobile hotspot so I can share my internet on my laptop. Please note that I could do just that when I use my Techno N7. I have contacted the network provider and they said to me it is a problem with the Samsung S5.

Please has anyone in the house come across this challenge?

I'm on AT&T, for me to find it swipe from the top of the screen down, select the setting icon (looks like a gear towards top right corner), connections tab, tethering and wi-fi hotspot, mobile hotspot and select to turn it on. Once it's enabled it will show you the wifi name and network key that you will need to enter on your laptop/device. If you are not seeing this maybe it's due to being on a different network than what the phone was intended for (AT&T).

Thanks for the reply, but each time I did that it return with 'No valid Data or invalid sim'
