Re: Firmware update encountered an issue

I assume the phone is still in stock form?

what is your ISP or carrier name?

If the upgrade really did crap out, and you have a partial upgrade, you may have to use ODIN to install a new copy of the OEM ROM.

I've never done this, so you need help from someone better than me.

I just did a search for 'odin' and found this how to article.

they show you how to install odin and how to get your OEM ROM files and install them.

maybe this will get you going.

Re: Firmware update encountered an issue

Did you purchase the phone through your carrier 'MEO' and it is a valid Samsung phone?

That is, it is not a clone phone from China?

If you can go to a MEO retail store, maybe they could help you with getting the phone working again.

If not, perhaps they can exchange it for a working phone?
