Volume Control picture taking not working correctly with Verizon Samsung S5
My wife has a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone from Verizon. She just got a selfie pole as a gift that uses a 3.5mm plug into the earphone port to supposedly snap a picture. However, when you push the button with hers, it will only zoom the camera and not take a picture. We went into settings and set the volume control to take the picture, but the pole still causes a zoom to occur. Then we tried it with my phone, same result. The odd part is, it works correctly with Samsung S5 from At&t that 2 other friends have. Any ideas why they are different and if the issue is a setting somewhere else?
