I have a verizon S5 and I want to say about 2 minor updates ago i started noticing a video call option. It comes and goes and everytime I search about it, it points me into using video call apps. Like skype or others. But here are some screen shots. I hope im plaxing his in the correct area.

You can do one or two way video calling through Verizon. It's part of the HD calling update. If you look up the HD calling update you will see this talked about. Only a few devices are currently supported though.

At the moment, it is a total farce.

Only works if both users are on Verizon.

I have 500+ contacts in my phone, unless you consider my wife as being a user that wants 'to see me", there is not one person in my list that has or wants to use HD video calling.

I let it load the day it showed up, and about 2 hours later, I uninstalled it and went to the VZW website and turned the feature OFF.

I have uninstalled Skype from my desktop PC because it is so terrible about tying up resources and slowing down my desktop computer. I will not allow that, and got rid of it.

I do NOT have Facebook or Twitter on my cellphone for the same reason.
