After trying to root my galaxy s5 with CF auto root, the root failed and now my phone appears "firmware upgrade encountered issues". I want to find a way to fix this problem. I am partially scared of rooting again.
FWIW check out Youtube for information on 100% reliable unbrick/unroot procedures. I would imagine that for such a popular model as this you'll be able to find them. Once you know you'll be able to recover if things go wrong, you can root fearlessly.
I recommend Youtubers Fortress Of Nerditude and QBKing77.
