That is why I suggested that you re-flash the firmware. In case you had a bad update. See my post #325.

No, nothing from this list and all bloatware i have "disabled" in app manager! I have just nova launcher, and some apps but this apps i have already on S2 S3 S4 and on other FWs on S5. I tried too deinstall some this apps but its not problem in apps... i think problem is in this last MOT FW.

Hey ironass hope you can help me I've been using G900FXXU1ANG2 as well as tried :

    G900FXXU1ANE2
    G900FOJV1ANE1

    Both above are 4.4.2.

I was wondering if I use any of the builds below (there are all for G900F and my carrier branded XFM (South African) phone and are listed in order of build date according to sammobile.

    G900FXXU1BOE5
    G900FOJV1BOF1

    G900FXXU1BOJ1
    G900FOJV1BOF1

    G900FXXU1BOJ1
    G900FOJV1BOF1

Will I be able to odin back to ANE2 (for rooting purposes without tripping KNOX for example) without having any issues like loosing my imei or tripping KNOX etc? Will the bootloader not prevent me from downgrading to 4.4.2 from any of the above 5.0.

    Thanks

No problem on the international models with upgrading/downgrading but rooting will now trip the Knox flag.

Thanks for the reply. So even if I go back to the ANE2 4.4.2 after being on 5.0 it will still trip KNOX if I try to root even though it doesn't now?

Do you mean that you are currently on rooted on 4.4.2 and want to flash 5.0 and then root it? That will permanently trip your Knox flag. If you do not root it, it won't.

Gotcha... I think! You are rooted on 4.4.2. You want to unroot and go to Android 5.0. Then, without rooting, return to Android 4.4.2 and re-root without tripping Knox. That should be fine. Can I ask why you would want to do that?

    Appreciate your responses.
What I mean is if I really dislike 5.0 then I'd like to option to go back to 4.4.2 and have the potential to root.

As I have been on 5.0 before on a Note 3 and for some reason couldn't stand it compared to kit kat.

There is a CSC code changer in, "Other tools", of Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store. it will FDR your phone. I have never used it personally as I just flash any and latest firmware for any G900F CSC code that takes my fancy.

What mean FDR? I ask because MOT CSC is my operator FW, and i will SIO rom beacuse it is official ROM for my Country (Slovenia) and this FW has not so much bloatware inside integrated!

    FDR = Factory Data Reset

Why not just download the SIO firmware and flash it via Odin?

Yes i will do that but i ask you if will this procedure change CSC or must i do something else? ODIN is for me the simpliest way! I forgot to tell you, i have now MOT KitKat and works perfect Thank you again!

Flashing a stock firmware will not change your original CSC code. You will need Phone Info for that.

Yes but Phone Info needs root if i read correct?

    - 'CSC Changer': Change the CSC. This tool requires root + multi-CSC stock firmware.

You need to be rooted to change system data.

Is it possible for me to use a 4.4.2 modem on a 5.0 firmware, the slight improvement of wifi reception on 4.4.2 is what I need to just get signal.

My answer is... I think so. I would advise making a nandroid backup before flashing the 4.4.2 modem... just in case.
