Hi all,
I'm new to these forums and came because I'm having trouble downloading Lollipop for my S5. I have tried 4 times today to download it, however the WiFi at my school cuts out every half hour or so for 10+ seconds at a time, which keeps terminating the download. Is there a way to download over mobile data? I had originally set my phone to download apps over WiFi only to save data, but I found where that setting is (Google Playstore) and changed it to data, however the update is unaffected by Google Playstore.
Also, is there a way to speed up the download (plug it into my computer and run through ethernet or something)? It took a half hour to get to 21% and everyone else I've asked said it took a half hour for the whole download.
Thanks in advance for your help!
