How do I retrieve encrypted files off sd card after factory reset?

In a moment of complete stupidity...

I factory reset my phone samsung galaxy s5, verizon, android ver 5, without decrpyting my sd card.

Are there any steps or utilities to retrieve the files?

I do not think there is a way. It would defeat the purpose of encrypting it if there was an easy way to de-crypt it outside of having the encryption key that was on the phone before the factory reset. Did you have your photos saving to the SD Card? If so did you have them auto backing up to Google Photo's?

I'll modify Andre's answer - there's no way short of using a supercomputer and having a few lifetimes (on average) to wait. There's no text that can't be decrypted, the question is whether your great grandchildren will still be alive by the time it's done. Pictures? Videos? No. Not even if you're willing to wait until the Andromeda galaxy collides with the Milky Way.
