Contact Photos

I use gmail for my contacts. I noticed when I got my new S5 and logged into gmail some of my contacts had photos and some did not. When I went into edit contact on my desktop there was a photo that I had put in there before.

I checked to make sure that my phone was using my gmail acount for my contacts and it is.

Why is this happening and what is the fix.

Why is this happening and what is the fix.

Some of your contacts must have multiple accounts link to the contact like Facebook or something. Some times you need to go in there and un-link them, put the one that has the photo first and then link the other accounts behind it.

Select/open the contact -> Menu -> Edit -> Menu -> Link Contacts-> Select Contact to merge with.
