This phone has dealt with problem after problem after problem, but I've never seen this before. I just went to do a restart because my phone was acting a little laggy and I came across a black screen with the word "custom" and a unlocked lock above it. This Version Samsung Galaxy S5 is giving me problems on a daily basis. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to fix it. By the way I'm on lollipop 5.0

If the phone is rooted or you flashed a custom ROM, you'll get that. If not, bring it to Verizon and tell them what happened. (The phone is still under warranty, so they should have replaced it the first time you had problems with it.)

If the update doesn't work (which is normal - perfectly working updates are the exception), the phone can see something that makes it think there's some custom firmware in it.
