    i was looking to buy a samsung galaxy s5 G900F and i noticed that amazon has a samsung s5 G900f and also a samsung korea s5 G900F and i noticed the korean version is often $20 to $40 cheaper and i was wondering if the korean version is authentic? and how is it different? performance wise and features wise.

    1. Samsung is a South Korean based company.

    2. The international G900F model is not marketed for South Korea. They have 6 carrier branded variants. See link below.

    3. Depending on where you want to use it and on which carrier, the G900F is not a CDMA phone, only GSM, and therefore will not work on some US networks and even on US GSM networks, may not be 4G compatible.

    hi, thanks for your reply.... besides bands and frequencies is the samsung korea galaxy s5 G900F any different from the other G900F s5 in terms of hardware ie cpu and chipset... do they have the same ram and chipset? and do they perform to the same ability?

    Samsung manufacture handsets in South Korea, Vietnam and Brazil. If both phones are the SM-G900F, global variant, they will be identical.

    The G900F is for Europe, the Korean 900s are G900K, G900L and G900S. An F that says Korea is indicating either its place of manufacture or the location of the company, Samsung. (Or the advertiser doesn't know the line he's selling very well.)
