Hello everyone, My wife have Galaxy S5's, I have a Note 3 and tablets with my children also have a laptop that all connect to WIFI to internet with no problem - EXCEPT My wife GALAXY S5. The Galaxy S5 is working fine until recent upgrade to Lolipop 5. I have check my router and I could see the connection of the Galaxy S5 in the wireless device list. I have tried few approach as below none of them worked out. I am running out of idea.
1) Forgetting the connection and re-connect doesn't help.
2) I tried static IP address for connection and it doesn't work as well.
3) Even tried wipe the cache partition and it didn't work out as well.
4) Factory reset the phone and yet the internet connection via home wifi failed

Security type: WPA2 PSK

Your help are much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Since it's something caused by the update, take the phone to the carrier and ask them to please fix what their update broke. (Also make sure that the router wifi encryption is AES, not TKIP or TKIP+AES.)

The router WIFI encryption is AES indeed. Gotta log a complaint to Samsung and fortunately it is still under warranty.

Nevermind, I downgraded the the firmware from Lopipop back to Kit Kat 4.4.2. Everything works fine after the downgraded.
