Anyone can access my samsung s5 via data cable.HELP

hi. I am new to this forum . i had been facing a security problem.. i have set screen lock via password but still anyone can access my phone data by just connecting it to laptop.they get access to whole phone via usb cable. can someone please help me .. how can i protect my phone privacy and when i leave my phone at home,my siblings enjoy my data by connecting to laptop.please help somebody

Hello. You should find that if your screen is locked, you cannot access the device via usb. It would not be recognised.
That is what I have always gathered, at least, I don't use a secure lock screen.

it just opens on its own without screenlock opened.. previously it used to ask password.now it doesnot

I don't know why that happens, someone will.

The pc asked for a password, or the device does?

Do you have Samsung software on the pc, or you can access it just with Windows Explorer / My Computer.

it did not ask for any paswword..it just opened just like other usb devices.. in my computer
