You'd have to convert the Excel file to a VCF file and then Import those to your phone. This might help with the conversion.

If you already have a VCF file, then just import into your phone.

You can try this manual steps to convert your contact Excel file in vCard format easily. There is an easy & simple manual trick to convert Excel to vCard format without requiring any third-party application. Three different types of manual tricks:

    1) Excel to CSV Conversion
    2) Import Contacts from CSV
    3)Export Contacts to vCard

    Excel to CSV Conversion

The manual trick starts with Excel to CSV conversion. Follow the steps shown below to convert Excel file to CSV format:

Step 1: Open the Excel (XLS or XLSX) file on your system
Step 2: Click on Office button > Save As > Other Formats. You may also press F12 for instant action.
Step 3: Define a location for saving this new file. Also, give a name to it. Now click on the drop down arrow just near Save as type option.
Step 4: Select CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv) and click on Save button.
Step 5: Click OK to save only the active sheet.
Step 6: Click Yes to keep the workbook in CSV format.

The selected Excel file has been successfully converted into CSV format at the defined location. Read SysInfoTools Blog for all manual steps.

    Hope this manual steps helps

If they're Google contacts (they should be - if they aren't, see the Contacts section of Backing up an Android Device to convert them), go to Google Contacts and click More. You can export contacts to an Excel csv file and you can import an Excel csv file. No need vcf-csv conversions.

There's no direct way to import contacts from Excel spreadsheets to your mobile device. I'm not sure what you want to do here. Do you want to import Excel contacts to your mobile or vice versa? Mobile devices stores contact information in VCF aka vCard file format. So, you need to import Excel contacts to VCF files. There's an easy manual trick you can find in this blog post: An Insanely Easy Way to Convert Excel to vCard | N.Sem's Blog

Remember the manual trick is as effective as a professional Excel to vCard converter tool.So spending money on a paid tool is not worthy enough.
