It depends if the prepaid device accepts the same sim and is unlocked. I'd first suggests checking with your carrier to see if it is compatible then go from there.

IOW, the phone has to be SIM-unlocked (which a prepaid phone won't be) or locked to the same carrier the SIM is from. And it can't be a Tracfone (they're totally different.)

But for about $15, you can buy a Qi charging receiver for the S5 and a charging pad and charge the phone wirelessly. (You probably can't buy a prepaid phone for that little.)
