Hey droids, first post here.
I dropped a phone for the first time ever today. Even with an "unbreakable" screen cover and a rubber phone case, my Galaxy S5 still managed to shatter its screen when it hit the ground. I'm surprised at how delicate the shatter-resistant glass was; it must have hit on just the right spot.
So now the phone turns on and the sound works, but I have no display at all. I'd like to get my pictures and bookmarks and stuff off of it so I can factory reset it and get a new one. The only method I could think of to do this was hooking it up to a computer monitor or TV screen and duplicating the display. Is this possible? And is it possible if the phone screen is dead? I'm thinking the touch screen is probably ruined too. I have not rooted this S5.
Thanks.
