I want to get my photos off an S5 with a black screen. How can I do this?

I want to get my photos off an S5 with a black screen.

My phone's screen is completely black, and I really want to get my photos off the phone before I have to switch over to a new one. They are unfortunately not backed up anywhere... any way to get them off the phone and onto my computer without use of my screen?

plug it into the computer using a USB cable. Access the folders via File Explorer on your computer

I backup my phone by simply plugging it into the computer and copying the photos to a directory on the computer...
