Why does my S5 stop playing music randomly?

S5 stops playing music randomly

I have researched this question for weeks and have yet to find an answer that works. My S5 will simply stop playing mp3's whether stored on the sd card or internally. I have tried limiting the number of background apps, tried three different player, and installed an app that is supposed to keep music playing. None of these things have helped. It will randomly shut down at any time on any track and sometimes restart minutes latter. Does anyone have any real solution to his problem or random stops when playing music? Thanks a bunch!

Im having a similar problem. I used to use google play music but recently switched to spotify. Now my phone will constantly start playing the same song through the regular Music app. So annoying.
