Galaxy S5, No message delivery report box to activate. Please help.

I just bought a galaxy S5, model number SM-G900AZ, running on Android version 4.4.2. Unfortunately, there is no message delivery report box to activate. I went to <messaging> then to the <settings> and then <text messages> and didn't find the option box to tick. What is the problem? Please help.

Hello and welcome to Android Central!

You have the SM-G900AZ, carrier branded, minority variant, for the U.S. network, Cricket. See #1.5 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

The firmware on this model may differ from the stock Samsung Message app...

Messages > Menu (3 dots) > Settings > Text messages > Delivery reports

It could be that Cricket does not support this feature. There have also been a further 2 Lollipop, Android 5.0, releases for this model. The latest being...

Model SM-G900AZ
Model name GALAXY S5 (Cricket)
Country Unknown
Version Android 5.0
Changelist 4837836
Build date Thu, 09 Jul 2015 14:22:48 +0000
Product code AIO
PDA G900AZTUU3BOG3
CSC G900AZAIO3BOG3

Check OTA or flash as per #1.11 of the aforementioned Dummies Guide.
