Have to press Galaxy S5 home button

Sometimes I have to press my home button on the Galaxy S5 hard in order for it to work. Is there a problem with it?

Welcome to Android Central! The Home button shouldn't require excessive pressure. The button mechanism might be faulty. Bring it to a Best Buy and ask the Samsung Store rep to look at it.
