How can I fix the echo on Samsung s5

I can hear every word I say echoing back to me. Have looked through settings but unable to find solution. This has just recently happened.

I'm having the same issue with Verizon note 4. Not every call but now and then.

Check with your carrier - they could have a bad echo suppressor somewhere.

Happens on ATT also, occasionally, so I do think this is a network issue. When it happens, typically I hang up and call again, and it works fine. Aggravating, but effective...
