after the most recent update, my VZW S5 would not recognize SD card, unless there's a VZW SIM card

after the most recent update, my VZW S5 would not recognize SD card, unless there's a VZW SIM card inside the phone....

The software currently in my VZW S5 is this one: G900VVRU2B0G5

I've tried this several times with 6 different MicroSD cards from 3 different brands.(16gb, 32gb, 64gb) All of those cards worked perfectly in my other Samsung phones, like the Note 4, S3, Note 3, as well as Tab S 10.5 tablet.

I usually use my VZW S5 as a spare phone with T-Mobile or AT&T prepaid SIM cards... and sometimes foreign prepaid SIM cards. Whenever the phone displays a message that says the SIM card is not a Verizon SIM card, the MicroSD card is missing under "storage" or in "My Files"..... I've even done factory reset a few times. No difference.... anytime there is no VZW SIM card inside the phone, the MicroSD is just not recognized...

Prior to the most recent update, it did NOT have this problem..... Is there a way to roll back the update?
