I often get told that there is not enough storage available when I try to download an app or something, so I bought a 32gb sd card and moved all my photos, videos etc over onto that, which gave me 3gb or so free space (apparently). I now have this coming up again so went in the storage screen and it reads as follows:
'Total Space
16.00GB
System Memory
4.46GB
Used Space
7.43GB
Cached Data
2.66GB
Misc Files
1.02GB'
When I then click into the Used Space it shows this:
'Apps
3.92GB
Pictures, videos
23.88MB
Audio
436MB
Downloads
4.19MB'
So as far as I can tell this only adds up to about 4.5GB, yet the used space section in the storage view says 7.43GB?!
When I go to the 'My Files' folder it shows the following:
'Recent files
0GB
Images
1.7GB
Videos
367MB
Audio
438MB
Documents
3.2MB
Downloaded Apps
1.4GB'
So I have no idea what this information means as it seems to not tie up with the other information at all, with the exception of Audio which is close to what it said in the storage view?
How can I easily see what is on the device, and what is on the SD card once and for all, and then move or delete what I need to from there?
Thanks
