Can I delete specific photos in Picasa on my Galaxy S5?

I HATE Picasa, but don't want to delete ALL the photos, because that is the only place on my phone that they're stored. Is it possible to select specific pictures in Picasa, and delete them? (Where's the dang "delete" garbage can icon, like with regular photos????

Welcome to Android Central! Picasa refers to your photos that have been stored or backed up to your Google Photos cloud. You usually can't delete cloud photos using the stock Gallery app. Use the Google Photos app instead, or go to your Google Photos website on your computer and delete the photos there.
