How do I tether my S5 on US Cellular without paying extra to do it?

I am trying to use FoxFi / PDA Net to tether my computer via my phone. It will connect briefly but I immediately get a message that I need to contact my carrier to pay for tethering. This did not happen when I tethered via Verizon using the same software.

I'm already paying US Cellular enough and I want to use my data any way I want. Anyone know how to get around this?

Welcome to Android Central! I think many carriers have cracked down on these free tethering apps. We can't really help you hack things to bypass something that your carrier requires you to pay for. Sorry!
