My Galaxy S5 wont allow me to move anything onto SD card

[AC Question]

I just purchased a 32G SD card for my Galaxy S5. I installed the SD card and have been trying to move apps and pictures to the card, but when I try I get a notification saying there is insufficient space on the card. When I go into the settings and check the storage, the device storage is maxed at 16G, but the SD card shows 29G of available space. Also when I first put in the SD card, my camera automatically saved new pictures to the card but now they are all missing from my phone (there were only about 10 pictures) and I am worried they were somehow deleted from the SD card.

Try to reformat to sd card in the phone.

Where did you purchase the card? If you paid a "fantastic price" from an unknown source, it may be counterfeit.
