How can I connect mixer to my Galaxy S5?

Is it possible to to connect a band's audio via a mixer to S5 while filming them ?

Yup, as long as the mixer has audio output via 3.5mm jack (and the jack has the right wiring), you should be able to use that as an 'external microphone'. If you want extra audio (i.e., audience or ambient), you'd have to connect a second microphone to the mixer before sending to the phone.
