No service on my sim card, works fine for friends?

Hey all,

In desperate need of help with this phone!
So ill clear up my issue, I woke up the other morning with no service, thought it might be Vodafone.
Spoke to them and my accounts all clear and service is fine.

So to test this,
S5 plus my sim = No service
S5 plus friends sim = Service is fine
Friends phone plus my Sim = Service is fine

So the connection is with my Sim and my phone, Ive done a factory reset this morning,
The only solution is to buy another phone! Unless anyone has any idea why this is happening?

Whilst your SIM may work in another phone O.K. I would suggest popping in to your nearest Vodafone shop and asking for a replacement SIM.

this problem still occurs with a Factory reset of the phone and also a new replacement simcard,

So, you have already had a replacement SIM card from Vodafone and that is not working either. In that case, as we have a 2 year warranty in Europe, you can ask Vodafone to fix it.

Turns out that the phone has been reported lost/stolen, though was bought used from a reputable retailer online.
