I have Android Auto on a 2016 Sonata and a Galaxy S5. AA works great, but when I press the microphone button and say "Call Jen", it replies with "OK. But when it's safe, you need to disconnect your phone and respond to the notification". I guess it's the same as saying "OK Google - call Jen".
The problem is that when I do that, and respond "Yes, I'm in", the setting is only for that session. If I disconnect and try it later, it still prompts me. It's really annoying.
Is there a way to configure Google to always access my contacts? I thought that was a one-and-done kind of thing. Guess not.
