I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and every now and then a remote type icon shows up faintly on the left hand side of my home screen. It's a see through type icon. I can't move it, delete it or anything. Once I touch it, it locks everything up. I don't know how it gets there and I can't find anything about it online. The only way to delete it and unlock my phone is to remove the battery.

Welcome to the forums. I believe a few people have been having issues with the Peel remote app. Upon a reboot, go into settings>apps>swipe over to all apps, and scroll down to Peel. Click on it, and click disable.
