Can I delete download manager from my Miscellaneous Files?

Can I delete download manager from my

I have a galaxy s5, and the downloads manager in the miscellaneous files section of my storage is taking up 63mb, which is several times more than literally anything else in the miscellaneous files section. According to the color bar that shows where all your memory is being used, the miscellaneous section is talking up half of my memory. Can I delete the downloads manager from there? I know I physically can, but will it mess my phone up if I do?

I suggest going to Settings-Application Manager and then All. Find download manager and clear the cache. I do this periodically since it can grow quite large. I just checked and the cache was 256MB. I have seen it as large as 1GB before! I really don't know what this does other than take up valuable internal memory.
