    I would advise against it... These models differ more than just some software changes. There are often slightly different radio configurations in these phones. Things might work, but most likely you'll end up losing most of the mobile radio connectivity. Worse case, the phone won't even boot up. There might be some hacks to get the build working, but I would suggest you sit tight and wait for the native update.

    EDIT: I just checked and the L version is the Korean model, F for Europe. Not knowing a lot about the Korean model, the home market models often have some strikingly different bits than what can be had elsewhere.

    No you can't. It will brick your phone. Better be patient than bricking your phone. But im sure the SM-G900F will receive the update very soon.

    Why not install the G900F, Marshmallow update. See, Galaxy S5 receives Marshmallow Android 6.0.1 update!
