Why is my email registering as spam following the Marshmallow OS upgrade?

Hello...after upgrading to OS on my Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow, I am having email problems. I am using the standard email app for an account through my domain via BlueHost, set with IMAP protocol. When I try to register an email as spam, I get the message "move failed." I tried to move email to the spam folder, but there is no spam folder in the list. When I go to settings>spam addresses, the only editing option is to delete spam addresses already blocked. I am using the same settings I used before upgrading the OS. Anyone else having this problem?
