GS5 Boot loops after update

Since updating to Marshmallow my phone has been crashing and boot looping quite often. Typically happens when I open the camera and clash of clans.

I've attempted to clear cache and eventually factory reset from recovery menu. I'm thinking to try Kies next.

Any one else experiencing similar issues? Other suggestions?

So far no.

That would suggest a problem with a 3rd party app. The tedious challenge now is to reboot into Safe Mode and start uninstalling apps one by one until the problem goes away. You could start with Clash of Clans and any other app that has Camera permissions, since that's what seems to be most associated.

After a couple factory resets... And a trip to the Samsung store(at Best Buy) I found out i had a bad battery that caused all of the resets. Changed batteries and I no longer saw the issues.

Glad you got it fixed! That seems like odd behavior for a faulty battery--keep an eye out for any recurrence.
