Oh, yeah, Samsung Pay! Definitely something the S5 won't have and you'll wish you had. I barely take out my wallet anymore.

I am afraid it is the same old story with both the S5 and S7. There is a higher complaint ratio with the U.S. carrier minority variants compared to the Samsung Global models. In the case of the S7, the difference may be more apparent with the Global models on the faster, more battery friendly, Exynos chipset and the U.S. models on the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset which, although better than most phones on the market, is slower and less battery friendly. Also, if you are into rooting, the big surprise on the U.S. models, (at least it was to me), is that they all have the double mega locked down bootloader that we have so far only seen on the AT&T and Verizon models and prevent rooting.
Having said that, the S5 is currently receiving,
possibly, its last update, to Marshmallow whilst the S7 is set for Android N and Android O.
