    Hi All,

I recently updating my Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T - T-Mobile) from Android Lollipop to Marshmallow.
After updating, I noticed that when I restart my phone, the Active buttons on my Quick setting button tray get reset to default. So I would re-arrange them to my preference, and they would reset again when restarting my phone. I've already attempted chatting with Samsung tech support, who suggested I clear my phone's cache and do a "wipe cache partition." Today, they recommended a factory reset which did not resolve the issue.

Has anyone encountered this issue, and if so, resolved it?

Here are your two options, as the MM update has caused these types of issues, and one or both of these are required.

    1. Enter Recovery Mode and Wipe Cache Partition. No data loss.

    2. Do a full factory reset of your device. PHONE AS NEW. ALL DATA LOSS. back up your device.

I totally recommend the second option. But if option 1 helps, then stop there.
