Thanks for the help already received here. It's appreciated.
I bought this S5 on eBay as 'network unlocked'.
When the phone starts, it shows O2 logo and has various O2 apps preinstslled.
I don't really understand the unlock procedure. Is it possible to fully unlock such a phone?
Thanks

'Unlocking' a phone means that it will allow all the functions to work with any SIM card from any compatible carrier/network, but since your phone is carrier-branded, the software is already 'tweaked' by O2, which includes the boot logo, some apps (most should be, if not removable, at least you should be able to disable them) and UI changes. THAT won't change in your phone unless you install a different software version, but that's a different story.
