Just wondering if there are any electrical gurus that can answer this question for me.

I have an unused 12v = 2 amp AC power adapter and I was wondering if I could splice into the wires to use as a rapid charger. The AC input of it is 100-240v, 50-60hz, 0.65A max.

DC output is 12v 2 amp

I would not use this. You would want to step it down to 5 V. The rapid charge is more current, not voltage.
