So here I was last night using my phone and I wanted to check prices on a replacement charge port on eBay so I go to the play store to download the eBay app and next thing I know 30 minutes later the app finally finished downloading.
I started my prepaid plan on May 20, that night and the following 2 days I was staying at a hotel so the obvious choice was to use the free Wi-Fi. Some time between Sun night and Monday my charge port was broken and the phone died. I had a friend with a S5 that charged my phone for me Tuesday afternoon and when the battery was given back to me it was almost exclusively in U. power saving mode. The phone was dead early the next morning and the phone did not get charged again til late Friday night when I was staying at a hotel once again and was obviously using the free Wi-Fi. Most of the apps I downloaded from the play store were done on wifi and these are the apps I had installed.
Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Pandora, Textra SMS, Nova Launcher, AC forum app
Pandora was used maybe 3 times for no more than 30 minutes at a time.
My phone has also been dying faster than I can charge it every single day since I started my plan because of either a low health battery or the Marshmallow update. So quite frankly I've either had the phone in U. power saving mode or completely off to help the charging speed.
So I just find it hard to believe that I've went through 5GB of 4G LTE data in roughly a week and half (because the phone was completely dead most of last week), yet here I am barely able to even browse because of my slow speed.
The data icon in my status bar says I'm connected to 4G LTE and has not changed that I've noticed except once yesterday at my lawyers office where it showed 3G.
Can someone recommend a really good and very accurate app that will split the wifi and mobile data for me to see what I've used for the future so I can keep an eye on it?
