Ever since upgrading to marshmallow I've had an annoying notification sound amd cibration every time a new song starts when I listen to music.
I use the default music app that comes with the Galaxy S5. I've looked for notification setting but can't find anything that helps.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure--you've looked in the Music app's own settings (as opposed to the system settings)?

Moved to the S5 forum (since this is more of a device-specific issue, rather than a general Marshmallow one).

Yup, I checked all the notification settings and wasn't able to find anything in the app or general notifications. This only popped after I upgraded to Marshmallow, but I haven't seen any other posts regarding anything like it

The notifications totally stop when I set the phone to silent, but persists on vibrate

Try wiping the system cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404
