How can I tell if my S5 headphone jack is still water resistant?

I bought an S5 a few months back on ebay. I've never had it officially looked into but I'm thinking the headphone jack was no longer water resistant when I got it. Something that the seller did not mention. It hasn't been a big deal but would be good to know for sure. From what I've seen on other S5's, it looks like when you look into the headphone jack you can see the piece that makes it water resistant. But in mine I don't see that piece. Should I just take it to an AT&T store and see if they can tell me or is there a way to know for sure without actually getting it wet to test it? Also, if the piece is missing, is there a way to repair it? I've seen headphone jack replacement parts for sale. Is that what I'd have to do, replace the entire jack? Thanks!

Hi

I would suggest taking it a service center, but most importantly, unless you owned the phone from day one, just assume, its NOT water resistent anymore.
