How to recover photos sent to SD card

I received a notice that my storage was getting full and did I want to transfer to SD card. I have a 128 SD card in my phone so I clicked transfer. Now I can't find SD card on my phone and when I take it out and put it in a USB / SD card device it shows nothing on SD card at all in fact it should shw D drive on my computer and doesn't. Please help me get my baby granddaughter's pictures back. Thanks in advance. I don't think I made myself clear this is on my Galaxy 5 that shows no SD card will windows fix it on my computer when it doesn't even show anything on SD card

Use Windows drive repair utility, it might help any errors you have with your sdcard. Remember don't 'format' the sdcard while using windows to repair the drive. Hope it helped
