About a month ago I thought I would try Verizon's Caller name ID app. It's supposed to use their database to display information on phone numbers that are not in my address book, or so I thought. I've been getting A LOT of "You've won a free cruise" calls lately and would like to know when to ignore them. It also uses some database somewhere to display a thumbnail for the caller, if they have one.

I used the service for about a week. Every singe call I got that wasn't in my contacts already was never identified. Since the service wasn't doing what I had hoped it would do as it advertised it would, I canceled it. The service itself has stopped, but ever since then my phone does not display the thumbnail from my Google contacts for incoming and outgoing calls. It is just blank white for everything.

Has anyone had this issue? How can I fix it? Thanks!

(My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5 running system G900VVRU2DPF4 as of July25th(ish))
