I have Pokemon Go on my phone, 2 days ago, someone downloaded a fake GPS onto my phone. Now my pokemon go is saying "failed to detect location".
I have uninstalled the fake gps, my game still says failed to detect location. how do I fix this?

Hello and welcome to Android Central whatever then!

Did you follow the correct procedure of wiping the fake GPS app's cache and data, prior to uninstalling the app, as per Step #3 of #1.5 of S5 Update Problems - Dummies Guide? This is done to clear any files and cached information relating to an app before uninstalling.

You could also try wiping the phone's cache partition as per #1.3 of the aforementioned guide to see if that helps.

Finally, DO NOT let other people tinker with your phone in future.
